Most services at Sacred Farewells run 30 to 45 minutes: a welcome, a song, a reading or two, a eulogy from one person who knew them best, an open time for memories, a short message if a minister is leading, and a closing. Families keep what fits and change what does not. Nothing about the order is required.

Keeping It on Time
Give speakers a number of minutes and they will keep to it.
- Three to five minutes each
- Slideshow six minutes
- Meal after
Ask each speaker for three to five minutes and tell them the number; most people are relieved to have one. Keep the open microphone to about fifteen minutes and let the person leading close it gently. The slideshow runs well at five to seven minutes; the slideshow calculator fits the photographs to the songs.

Basic and Enhanced include three hours in the facility and Legacy four, so a 45-minute service leaves most of the window for greeting guests and the meal after.
From Outline to Printed Program
Print the outline, or hand it to the venue for the program.
- Up to 100 programs with Enhanced
- Beyond 100 at $2 each
Print the outline and it becomes the running order for whoever leads the room. Enhanced Celebration and Legacy Tribute include custom program design and printing for up to 100 guests; send the team the outline, the name, the dates and a photograph and the program is designed for you. Printed programs beyond 100 are $2 each.

Does the order have to follow a religious form?
No. Sacred Farewells is Christian based and led, and every family is welcome. Bring your own minister or none, your own music and your own readings; the staff set the room for whatever the family chooses.
Who runs the room on the day?
A family member or friend can, with the printed outline. Enhanced Celebration includes a coordinator and Legacy Tribute a professional MC who guides the service so the family can sit together.
Can the service be live streamed?
Yes. Legacy Tribute includes live streaming for remote family, and streaming to an additional platform is $150 with any package.
